Hello I have a question for anyone who is a Event/party planner. I myself am not one. However I was thinking about starting up a very small business. The business I had in mind is to help the planner with the task of putting together party favors and or stuff goodie bags. The creations will be the planners and the planner would supply all the supplies. I know it can be stressful being a planner, but if I could help with a task, that would be great. Do you all think this service would be something that would be in demand? Thank you for your time.

This may surprise you, but I almost always have a mocktail option at in-person events. Speaking for myself, when I host gatherings at my house, I do a mocktail for guests. My husband and his family are really just wine drinkers, if that, so I find these go over really well at family gatherings. It lets me do my thing without requiring anyone to drink. These are also clutch for my Mommy playdates (I see you, Jenna). Here are some of my favorite recipes & how they can look if you want to make that part of the overall decor. In events, the details matter. I've spent a lot of time obsessing over every element that we place on the table at events. Glassware is an essential piece of that design. Aesthetics aside, there are a lot of things I consider when selecting glassware. I am a huge fan of compulsively buying really any decor item online, but at events, I have to think of how it can impact the operations of the events, and ultimately the guest experience. Here are a few things to think about whether you are planning a small gathering or hosting a holiday at your home. Shape: It's easy to see that every glass has a different shape. They serve different purposes: 1. Water glasses 2. Wine glasses 3. Cocktail glasses 4. Champagne flutes Event Planner Pro Tip - consider the glassware when selecting your centerpieces, chargers, and/or plates. Will it all fit? If you have a centerpiece, chargers, an on-table napkin fold, trays of food for the meal itself, and all these glasses, chances are the answer is no. Depending on how fancy you feel - you can set three glasses on a formal table - one for water, one for white wine, and one for red wine. I did that look at a Leadership Retreat event in Napa, California. This isn't the typical setup in the events world, but if it's something you'd like to do just consider how much space you'll need for it. Color and Texture: This is hands down my favorite way to jazz up a muted table design is with colored and textured glasses.
